Instagram integration

Destesi is a suite of AI-native tools for teams. Two of its products create content: Destesi Studiogenerates short-form video and images, andDestesi Connect holds the third-party accounts a workspace has authorized. Together they let you take a piece of content from idea to a published Instagram post without leaving Destesi.
This page describes exactly what the Instagram integration does, which permissions it uses, and how to revoke it.
What the integration does
- You connect your Instagram professional account fromDestesi Connect → Connections. Instagram shows you its own consent screen listing the permissions being requested.
- Destesi stores the resulting access token, scoped to your workspace, and reads your account name so the UI can show which account is connected.
- You create or approve a piece of content in Destesi Studio.
- You choose to publish it. Destesi sends the media to your connected account through the Instagram API.
Publishing is always an explicit action you take. Destesi does not post on a schedule or on its own initiative through this integration.
Permissions we request, and why
The integration uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login. We request only the two permissions below.

We do not request permissions we do not use. We do not read your followers, your direct messages, or the accounts you follow.
What we store
Only what the two permissions above require: the OAuth access token with its expiry and granted scopes, and the account identity we display (account id, username, account type, profile picture URL). We never receive or store your Instagram password.
How we use it
Solely to provide the functionality you requested. Instagram data is not sold, not used for advertising or profiling, not transferred to data brokers, and not used to train machine learning models. Full detail is in Section 3.1 of ourPrivacy Policy.
Disconnecting
Open Destesi Connect → Connectionsand choose Disconnect. We delete the stored token and the cached account profile, and stop making any further calls on your behalf. You can also remove Destesi from Instagram's own Apps and Websites settings. Step-by-step instructions, including full account deletion, are on theData Deletion Instructionspage.
